Every brand on InhouseHeal goes through the same research checklist, so reviews are consistent and comparable across categories.
1. What's actually sold
We start with the brand's own catalog: product lines, best sellers, sizes, materials and, for consumables, full ingredient lists and doses. For devices we note specifications such as wavelengths and irradiance for red light, heater type and temperature for saunas, chiller temperature and filtration for cold plunges, and battery life and sensors for wearables.
2. Evidence and safety
We look for proof behind the claims: third-party testing (for example NSF, Informed Sport or published certificates of analysis), FDA clearance for medical-type devices, CLIA-certified labs for test kits, and independent certifications for water filters. We explain what the research generally supports and where it is still early. Where a product carries real risks, such as heat stress or medication interactions, we add a health note.
3. Real cost
A sticker price rarely tells the whole story. We work out price ranges, cost per serving or session where useful, subscription and membership fees, replacement filters or parts, and installation needs such as a dedicated electrical circuit.
4. The fine print
We read shipping regions and costs, return windows, restocking fees, trial periods and warranty terms, because these decide what happens if a product doesn't work for you.
How the InhouseHeal score works
Each brand receives a score out of 5, rounded to one decimal. It weighs four areas equally: transparency (clear ingredients, specifications and testing), product quality signals (materials, certifications, evidence), value (price against what you get and against alternatives) and customer policies (returns, warranty and support). The score reflects our research at the time of the last update. It is not a medical rating and it is not a guarantee that a product will work for you.
Keeping reviews current
Prices, products and policies change. We re-check reviews regularly and show the last updated date at the top of each page. If something is out of date, tell us at hello@inhouseheal.com.
What we won't cover
We don't review prescription drugs sold without a prescription, research chemicals, SARMs or prohormones, or brands we can't verify are operating. Brands can't pay to be included or to change a score.
